Car Clinic/Repairs

The Auto Angels host a car clinic almost every Saturday from 9AM to about 2PM to perform safety inspections, routine service and many significant car repairs. The Auto Angels Team does not work holiday weekends.  If you are a member or attendee at FPCB or affiliated with an FPCB Community Outreach1 partner, you may make an appointment for your car. If you are part of our Church community, call 425-454-3082 X3324 for the Auto Angels appointment mailbox.  Please leave a brief message about your request and your phone number.  If qualified, someone will get back to you in 2 to 4 days.

A summary of most services we provide is listed on the right.  We can also provide a diagnosis and assessment of your vehicles problems and/or fixes needed by one of our partnered businesses. Except as noted, we usually do not charge for labor. We do request our patrons to pay our wholesale cost for parts when they are able.  We also gratefully accept donations for the support of the ministry.  Please note: Auto Angels primarily serve the members of First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue and those connected through our Community Outreach1 partners. 

While we would like to help all those in need, our all volunteer group's capacity to provide services is limited due to our facilities and resources.  Our program is overwhelmed with requests for assistance.  Many people that call are not affiliated with our church.  Unfortunately, we are not be able to help those.  After much thought and prayer, the Auto Angels team has adopted a policy that limits our efforts to those with a link to our church and it's Outreach Ministries1.  Auto Angels may provide a free vehicle inspection to others not connected to the church’s ministries as our schedule permits. But for most that do not qualify, your best bet is to contact one of our partnering repair shops.

We are partnered with quality auto repair shops in our community.  Referrals to our partnered shops will be made when we are unable to complete the work, or you are not a member of our church community.  Service recipients from those shops must pay for these repairs, however, our partners generally provide discounted pricing to those referred in support of our  Ministry.

Typical Services Offered

  • 25 Point Safety Inspection
  • Lube, oil and filter change
  • Auto detailing (there will be a donation required) 
  • Electronic engine diagnostics
  • Replace disk brake pads, rotors, and calipers
  • Replace brake drums and shoes
  • Replace brake master cylinders and brake boosters
  • Replace axle half shafts (CV joints)
  • Engine tune-up (spark plugs, wires, distributor or igniter)
  • Replace fuel filter & air pollution valves (PCV) or sensors
  • Replace battery, alternator, starter, most models 
  • Replace struts/shocks on most models
  • Repair minor body damage / no painting 
  • Cooling system including radiators, thermostats and water pumps.
  • Replace timing belts on some models
  • Referrals to partnering shops for major repair needs
