Vehicle Donation

Please consider donating an unwanted vehicle to the Auo Angels ministry for someone in need of dependable, affordable transportation.

Vehicles donated to Au†o Angels are inspected, brought to set safety standards and presented to the FPCB Benevolence Committee.  Processed vehicles are made available to pre-screened applicants struggling with  transportation problems.

We do not sell your donation, so you are entitled to fair market value for your Federal Income Tax deduction.  IRS Form 1098-C will be provided to document your donation. Unlike some other vehicle donation programs, we do not release autos to scrap metal dealers to be crushed.

Call 425-457-1840 for more information. To make your donation, please use this convenient Vehicle Donation form. Just fill in some minimum information about your vehicle and submit.  That's all there is to it!  Thank you and bless you for considering  Auto Angels.

What are the most desirable cars?

Au†o Angels Ministry gets the most function from mini-vans and small four door sedans, but value is based on the condition of the vehicle. Not every car we receive is appropriate for FPCB’s benevolence program. For example, a gas guzzling road warrior would not be appropriate for a single mom trying to make ends meet. Additionally, each car is evaluated to make sure that once a vehicle is assigned, it does not break down in a short time. Donated Car Recipient

Beginning in 2005 through 2008, Au†o Angels has received over 130 donated vehicles that have been inspected and/or repaired.  Over half of those have been transferred to deserving members of the community through the church’s benevolence program. If you’re interested in donating a vehicle or know someone who might be, call 425-457-1840 and let us know.

Who gets the cars?

Vehicles donated to Au†o Angels are inspected, brought up to a set of safety standards and evaluated for their value and worthiness. Those vehicles suitable for people in need are presented to the FPCB Benevolence Committee. Processed vehicles are then made available to pre-screened applicants struggling with a transportation problem. Assigned car owner

Vehicles that are not appropriate for benevolence are sold and the proceeds go to pay for parts, supplies and sometimes an economical used car that is suited for benevolence. Thus, the ministry is self-supporting. The process for obtaining a vehicle begins with a call to the benevolence line at Au†o Angels’ Community Care ministry (425- 454-3082 X3377) to initiate the screening process.

Perhaps to due to national economic conditions, the demand under this program far out-strips the availability of donated cars suitable for benevolence. So in many cases, even if qualified, recipients must be put on a waiting list until a vehicle for them is ready.

Who works on the cars?

Members and volunteers of the Au†o Angels ministry do. We have had over 24 volunteers for a workday event and expertise includes retired service managers, working mechanics, managers, engineers and car enthusiasts. Assigned car owner A few middle and high school students regularly attend. All are there because they enjoy working on cars, the fellowship shared through a Christian ministry and doing good for others. An added benefit is the exhilaration experienced when a car gets repaired.

Each donated vehicle gets a rigorous 25-point inspection and going over once it is received. Au†o Angels wants to make sure the new owner is safe and traveling without complications.

Where are the cars worked on?

Parking garage shopAu†o Angels has set up a small repair center at FPCB in the parking garage under the gym. There are currently 5 furnished bays for working on cars and two small car lifts. Most repairs can be accomplished in this work area but Au†o Angels has also partnered with a number of businesses in the community that are equipped to handle the most challenging repairs.
