Youth and Family Ministries - Staff (Greg Millikan)
Greg, our Youth Pastor, is a native of Washington, born and raised north of Marysville where he graduated from Lakewood High School. Greg then headed to southern California for his first two years of undergrad at Pepperdine University before transferring to the University of Washington where he graduated with a degree in Comparative History of Ideas. It was at U.W. where Greg met and married Alison, and experienced a significant transformation in his relationship with God. The next four years were spent working in college ministry in the Bay Area and then attending graduate school at Regent College in Vancouver, BC along with Alison, before the couple returned to Seattle for Alison to attend law school. At that time, Greg began working with our youth, first as the Junior High Director, then as the Youth Director, and in 2006 when Greg completed seminary, the Youth PNC (Pastoral Nominating Committee) asked Greg to be the Associate Pastor of Youth and Family Ministries.
We are thrilled to have Greg as part of our staff. It was in the seventh grade when God first became "real" to Greg and now he's participating with God as this same transformation occurs in the lives of the youth of FPCB and the greater eastside.
