Community Outreach
Highlights
Community Outreach at FPCB has supported HAC since 1990. Over 50 families have successfully transitioned from homelessness to permanent housing because of volunteers and financial support from our church. Our track record and credibility has been instrumental in obtaining monies from the State of Washington, King County, and the City of Bellevue, for Kensington Square, an expansion project, that will double our housing capacity.
The mission of Community Outreach is to transform our community spiritually, economically and socially through the:
- Proclamation of the Good News
- Education and mobilization of our congregation
- Development of strategic partnerships
- Deployment of financial resources
- Power of Prayer
The team maintains regular communications with agencies so we can be pro-active partners in their support and in the best use of our resources. We communicate with the congregation to inspire and encourage support and understanding of their ministry. Team members are involved in prayer, correspondence, ministry evaluation, and annual budgeting.
