Acts Of Service Show Bellevue Teachers The Real Jesus
Over 1000 volunteers turned their attention outward and gathered at the four elementary schools and the Jubilee REACH Center, Saturday August 19th. Participants came from five congregations:
- First Presbyterian Church
- Westminster Chapel
- Lake Sammamish Foursguare Church
- International Life Center
- Mosaic
The activities for the day closed with a dinner and worship service at Lake Hills Elementary School.
Teachers from all four elementary schools were overwhelmed with the organization
and productivity displayed by the volunteers. The workers overflowed with joy
causing one teacher to remark, "This is the first time I will be home with my
family on Labor Day since I started teaching; thanks to the work you helped me
do today in my classroom."
