Russia

The Russia Short-Term Mission team (Peggy Christensen, Jan Deaton, Paul and Patty Hirz (leaders), Ed and LaVerne Johnson, James and Carolyn Jones, Nancy Runkle and Linda Solyntjes) will be in Moscow and St. Petersburg from May 1-12. Since 1993 our ministry has evolved from doing projects to being a ministry of presence, encouraging and sharing in the ministries of our fellow Christians.

In Moscow we will visit St. Andrew’s, Narnia, and Hosanna Community. We will share and reach out to the less fortunate, the handicapped, prisoners, and the poor.

We will visit our sister church, St. John of Kronstadt Orthodox in Koltushi village, St. Petersburg, and celebrate our 14 year long friendship. We will also visit the Children’s Hospice, and meet the staff, the children, and their families.

Message From Jean McAllister

Banana Fiber Art
Aaack!  Hello, everyone! I’m so behind in getting this letter to you; my apologies. I have a mental image of a cartoon character who’s out in space wandering around in his suit, fitted with personal jets to propel him along and change his direction. I just got a little boost from my jets redirecting me to write to you!

Mission Prayer of the Week - Global Outreach

Ron and Gail Trail - Wycliffe Bible Translators

Pray for good health and strength for the Trails to continue the project of translating the Bible. Pray for those who have believed to grow in their relationship with God, for the Spirit to draw new people to believe in Jesus, and for the believers to be wise and bold in their witness to those in Islamabad.
