FPCB Trombones
The trombones are organized into four areas: Read and Play, Trombone Choir, Jubilee Trombones, and Festival Trombones. More information and schedules are listed below.
Read and Play
Players interested in reading and playing on an informal, “come as you are” basis, meet Wednesdays as listed, 7.30p to about 9.00p or so.
Trombone Choir
Players who desire to use and develop their musical gift for the glory of God in worship at FPCB. Players who desire to use and develop their musical gift for the glory of God in worship at FPCB. Commit to participate event, by event, at least two weeks in advance. Attendance at two previous rehearsals required. Scott Dean will direct as the group seeks a successful candidate to replace him.
Jubilee Trombones
Quartets or quintets are organized by the players to share the love of God through music with the community at-large and with service groups in the church. Performance schedule and dates to be arranged.
Festival Trombones
Select players by invitation or audition to support the ministry of music and worship with professional-level playing with the Festival Orchestra. These players are also strongly encouraged to regularly participate in the Trombone Choir.
